My first week at Bite
I joined Bite as a Marketing Executive on Monday and I am really enjoying it so far. I am already getting stuck in to projects, and going through my job role has been really insightful.
I want to use this blog to track my progress with the agency, as well as have my opinion on insightful content that I come across each week. Here are a few things that have caught my eye so far...
Old tech vs. new tech
My dad sent me this video earlier this week. It is from an episode of Jay Leno, where they compare old and new technology. Here is some of the feature, which shows a surprise winner of texting vs. Morse code.
I think you'll be as surprised with the outcome as I was- Can something traditional and so established as Morse code really beat the super fast mobile technology of today?
What's your Tour De France?
I was really interested in this article from Marketing Week. Atout France has come up with the idea of encouraging holiday makers to visit France and not just the popular destinations such as Paris. I am really behind this campaign, as I love France myself. We have had many holidays there, visiting Paris (of course), but always seeing sights such as the racecourse in Deauville and the gorgeous basilica in Lisieux. I think France has so much to offer, and I would encourage everyone to visit, whether you love wine and cheese, beautiful historical sights, or just like the culture.

Middle Earth
Since I was a child, I've always wanted to go to New Zealand. The landscape is incredible and it's also been that magical, mystical place that's on my list to visit. Have a look at the link below- it's an idea run by the NZ tourist board, where peoples passports were stamped with 'welcome to middle earth'. How incredible! Creating a surreal experience for the tourist- I love this and I want a stamp! Hopefully when I go to NZ, I will meet Legolas.
