Videos, videos!

A coffee experience
In my second year of university, I developed a proposal in my product management class for a new packaging design for a coffee brand. Being a coffee enthusiast, I enjoyed researching into the heritage of coffee beans, and developing comparisons between brands. This is why this campaign from Carte Noire really caught my eye. People seem fascinated by the screen and this clearly shows how a sensory experience can really get people excited about a campaign. Check it out here;

Innocent little angels

You can always rely in kids to tell the truth and this video shows it perfectly! When asked 'what is social media?', one innocent little boy answers with 'i like star wars'. Another asks 'why does my mum take pictures of her breakfast and put it on Facebook?'. Hillarious, and a little uplifting. Have a look;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nceDhoXKLKk

Media secrets

On Wednesday, Bite's Content Director Mike Harvey, did a talk on the secrets of media, where he went through the media training that the department will give company executives and PR people. It was really insightful, and I came away with some great tips, such as how the company rep should write down three points that they want to achieve from an interview and how to use the bridge method. Mike showed us this very cringe filled interview of the European MD of RIM on BBC breakfast, a key example of what not to do in an interview! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5l8bdaOMaA

Would you like fries with that?

What a brilliant prank this is. A skeleton driving a car through the drive- thru. The reactions are completely priceless! These sorts of things never get old... http://metro.co.uk/2013/10/02/magic-of-rahat-video-drive-thru-staff-fooled-by-skeleton-prank-4131043/

Bite's Burrito Bite off

Bite supports the Byte Night event for the charity Action for Children, and on Thursday 3rd October we had a fundraising day! As well as a bake sale, we had a burrito bite off challenge where some of our biters competed to eat a burrito in the fastest time (most of them very spicy). We all placed our bets and it was really good fun and all for a good cause. Here is an image- you can tell everyone got very excited! Have a look at @biteglobal on twitter for more info...
